Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 9, 2026

This policy explains what personal data Passoni Music collects when you use this site, why, who receives it and what you can do about it. We collect as little as we can: there are no user profiles, newsletters or ads.

Who is responsible

Passoni Music, run by Passoni, an independent music producer based in Peru, is responsible for your data. For any privacy question or request, write to help@passoni-music.com.

What we collect and why

  • Purchases. Your library email, the product, price, date, PayPal order and payment IDs, and the time you accepted the Terms of Service. We need this to deliver the product, keep it in your library, prove the sale in case of a dispute and keep accounting records.
  • Library sign-in. Your email, to send you a one-time code and keep you signed in.
  • Software licenses. If you buy software such as BandEcho, your license key, your email and the order it belongs to. When you activate it, an identifier of your computer (a fingerprint, not your files) and its name, so we can enforce the limit of 2 computers and show them in My library.
  • Reviews. The name, rating and comment you choose to publish. These are public.
  • Support. The messages you send us and the details you include.
  • Security. Your IP address and technical signals from your browser, used by Cloudflare Turnstile to stop bots at checkout and sign-in, and kept briefly in server logs to protect the site.
  • Analytics, only if you accept. Pages visited, products viewed, purchases (order ID and amount, no email) and approximate location, through Google Analytics. See the Cookie Policy.

PayPal handles your payment details. We never see or store your card number, and PayPal processes your data under its own privacy policy.

Legal bases

We use your data to perform the contract when you buy (delivery, library, licenses, support), to meet legal obligations (accounting and tax records), for our legitimate interest in keeping the site secure and defending disputes, and with your consent for analytics. You can withdraw consent at any time without affecting earlier use.

Who receives your data

We don't sell or rent your data. We share it only with the services that run the store:

  • Cloudflare: hosting, security and Turnstile anti-bot checks.
  • Supabase: database, library sign-in and file storage (servers in Brazil).
  • PayPal: payments, as an independent controller.
  • Our email providers: sign-in codes, order emails and license keys.
  • Google: analytics, only if you accept analytics cookies.

We may also share data when the law requires it, or to defend a payment dispute. Some of these services store data outside your country, including in the United States and Brazil. They protect it with contracts and safeguards such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep it

  • Unpaid orders: deleted automatically after 30 days.
  • Completed purchases and licenses: while your library exists, and as long as accounting and tax laws require.
  • Reviews: until you or we delete them.
  • Support messages: as long as needed to solve your request and any follow-up.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, to get a copy of it, to restrict or object to its use, and to withdraw your consent. Write to help@passoni-music.com from the email in question and we will reply within 30 days. We may keep records the law requires, such as proof of a sale. If you are not satisfied, you can complain to your local data protection authority (in Peru, the Autoridad Nacional de Protección de Datos Personales).

Security

Data travels encrypted (HTTPS). Each customer can only see their own purchases, and secret keys never reach the browser. No system is perfect, so if we learn of a breach that affects you, we will tell you.

Children

This site is not intended for children under 16, and we don't knowingly collect their data.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top and, for important changes, let buyers know.
